A Minneapolis-area con-running fan. He is a member of Minnstf, and chaired ReinCONation 5 and ReinCONation 6 as well as Not-A-ReinCONation and worked on Minicon and ReinCONation. He was editor of Rune in 1978-1979 and a member of MinneAPA. He was involved in several performances of The Mimeo Man and was one of the directors of Midwest Side Story at Minicon 12. He lived for a time in The Avocado Pit.
