The 2020 Worldcon, CoNZealand, will be held July 29 - August 2 2020 in Wellington, New Zealand. Because of the Covid-19 epidemic the committee made the bold step in late March to hold a virtual convention, a first for any large convention, let alone a Worldcon.

The New Zealand in 2020 bid was selected at Worldcon 76 in San Jose in an uncontested race (see 2020 Worldcon Site Selection) and CoNZealand will conduct site selection for the 2022 Worldcon.
