A LA area con-running fan and club fan. He is a long-time member of LASFS and working on many LA area conventionsm chairing Loscon Eleven in 1984. He was editor of Shangri-L'Affaires and published Amazing Adventures. He won the Evans Freehafer Trophy in 1988 and the Forry Award in 2015.
