Bruce Schneier is a fan living in Boston. He published the fanzine Ramblings.

He was married for many years to fellow fan Karen Cooper and lived in Minneapolis; they divorced in 2022. Schneier and Cooper were nominated in 2000 for the Hugo Award, in the category of Best Related Book, for their Minicon 34 Restaurant Guide, a work originally published for the Minneapolis SF convention Minicon 34.

Schneier is a native of Brooklyn, where he found fandom at age 16, meeting Al Nofi and John Boardman and joining Fanoclasts and Apa-Q. Before moving to Minneapolis, where he belonged to Minn-stf and Minneapa, Schneier lived in Chicago, where he was active in local fandom. He is a member of General Technics.
