A high school club in Brookline, MA which was very active in the 60s. It was founded by Jean Berman.

They "bought" Isaac Asimov at the Auction Bloch for $23 at Boskone 6 in 1969. They had unfortunately misunderstood the meaning of Auction Bloch which gave them an hour with him at the convention. The club members assumed that Asimov would come and speak at their school club meeting. Luckily, Asimov lived in Newton, which was adjacent to Brookline; he showed what a kind-hearted person he was by graciously made a speaking appearance at the school after the convention.

Club
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
