Baycon 1999

Baycon 1999 was held May 28–31, 1999 at the San Jose DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, CA. The theme was "Bold Deeds and Grand Epics". Author GoHs were Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta, Artist GoH was Nene Tina Thomas, Fan GoH was Jan Price, and Toastmaster was Kent Brewster. Chair was Amy-Elyse Patterson. The con's charity was Bay Area Literacy, an organization that works through Bay Area public libraries to help adults with reading deficiencies. Attendance was 1657 members.
