Balticon 44 was a convention held at the Marriott's Hunt Valley, Hunt Valley, MD, Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31, 2010. The GoHs were Tanya Huff, Howard Tayler & Thomas R. Holtz, Jr.. Hal Haag was ghost of honor.

The chairman was Steven Joel Zeve.

Paolo Bacigalupi won the Compton Crook Award for The Windup Girl. The previous year's winner was Paul Melko.
