Balticon 27 was a convention held Easter weekend, April 9-11, 1993 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, MD. The GoHs were Allen Steele, Don Maitz, and Leslie Fish.

The chairman was Jeff Olhoeft.

Holly Lisle won the Compton Crook Award for Fire in the Mist. Carol Severance was the previous year's winner.
