Art Wilson published published apazines, Scatalog for OMPA and FAPA and Coprophile for N'APA, from South East Asia. He also contributed to KiwiZine and Rover. He was a pilot for Civil Air Transport and its successor airline, Air America. Books and articles about Air America identify Art Wilson as a pilot with many thousands of hours of flying experience in South East Asia in the nineteen fifties and nineteen sixties. He was well known for always flying in "shower shoes" (flip-flops).
