Art Wilson published published apazines, Scatalog for OMPA and FAPA and Coprophile for N'APA, from South East Asia. He also contributed to KiwiZine and Rover. He was a pilot for Civil Air Transport and its successor airline, Air America. Books and articles about Air America identify Art Wilson as a pilot with many years of flying experience in South East Asia He was well known for always flying in "shower shoes" (flip-flops).
