Albacon 84 was held July 20-23, 1984 at the Central Hotel in Glasgow. The GoH was Harlan Ellison, who did not attend (the reason given was he was in the last stages of preparing Last Dangerous Visions!), but who gave his tickets to Norman Spinrad, who did attend.
