Adelphi Hotel

A large hotel in Liverpool, NW England with the fading grandeur of the Edwardian age, it was the site of several Eastercons (Follycon, Eastcon, Sou'Wester, Intervention, ReConvene) in the 80s and 90s until increasing problems with security, due to unauthorised access by local thieves, caused fans to boycott it, leading to the folding of Convoy in 2007. Its not been used for major fannish events since.
