Site selection for the 1992 Worldcon was conducted by the 1989 Worldcon, Noreascon 3.

The bidders were DC in 1992 and Orlando in '92 (along with hoax bids of New York in '92 and Not Dundalk in '92.) After the filing deadline and after the site selection ballot had been sent out, the DC in 1992 committee learned that a mundane group had rented the facilities they hoped to use and chose to withdraw from the race. Consequently, Orlando in '92 won and went on to run MagiCon.
