The 13th World Fantasy Convention was held October 29 - November 1, 1987 at the Hyatt Regency Nashville, in Nashville, TN. The GoH was Piers Anthony and Frank Kelly Freas was Guest Artist. In addition, there were Special Guests Andre Norton, Karl Edward Wagner, Ron Lindahn and Val Lakey Lindahn. the Theme was "A Southern Fantasy", the toastmaster was Charles L. Grant and it was chaired by Maurine Dorris.
