MayBelle Anshutz was a Los Angeles fan, a member of the LASFL, active in the 1930s. This makes her a member of First Fandom, though, sadly, a little remembered one. She was an Esperantist and fanzine letterhack.

(Note: There is a grave for MayBelle Louise Hare Anshutz, 17 Nov. 1904–13 Nov. 1980, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Hollywood Hills), Los Angeles, but we can’t be sure it’s the same person.)
