David Emerson, a longtime Minneapolis-area con-running fan, is a member of Minnstf, and chaired ReinCONation 5 and ReinCONation 6, as well as Not-A-ReinCONation and worked on Minicon and ReinCONation.
He was editor of Rune in 1978–79 and a member of MinneAPA. He was involved in several performances of The Mimeo Man and was one of the directors of Midwest Side Story at Minicon 12. In the early 1970s, he lived in The Avocado Pit in New York and was a member of the Omnivores.
A native of Florida, he currently lives in Cedar Rapids, IA. David holds a B.A. in physics from Stetson University and has worked as a professional baker and a computer programmer.
