George Metzger was a fan and fanartist active in the 1960s, drawing for such fanzines as Void. His "Letter found in a Bottle" (from Jesus Bug 12) was included in Fanthology 64.

Now a pro cartoonist and animator, he was an underground comics artist during the mid-1960s and early 1970s in California, eventually relocating to Canada, where he worked in animation.
