Smofcon 35 was held December 1-3, 2017 at the Back Bay Hilton in Boston. The site had inadequate space for the con suite (an essential part of Smofcon) and the hotel forced it to be moved into function space -- which, while awkward, probably saved the convention from an even bigger mess.
