(1) A Club in New Haven, CT

A club formally named New Haven SF and Fantasy Association, and also sometimes called NHSFFA, which was located in New Haven, CT. It seems to have been a combined social and sf discussion group. It published Anomaly. It was in existence by 1974 and had disbanded sometime before 1989. Linda Johnson published Pvenus Pflytrap as its clubzine in the mid-70s. Fl. 1974-89.

(2) A Club in Vancouver, BC

FRED (also written F.R.E.D., as its name stood for Fuck Reality and Enjoy Drinking) was an informal, entirely social club in Vancouver, BC in the late 70s. It met Tuesday evenings in a pub.
Many of its members were also the less-sercon members of BCSFA.
