Esther Friesner

(b. July 16, 1951, New York City, New York, USA)

Esther M. Friesner is an American fantasy and sf writer and anthologist who is probably is best known for her humorous style. She has a PhD and taught at Yale before becoming a writer.

She is one of the founders of the cyberprep movement and a practitioner of Cheeblemancy.

She was nominated for the 1996 Best Short Story Hugo.
