Dan Burford

Daniel C. Burford was a SF fan artist in the 1930s-1940s. He later sold some illustrations to prozines edited by Robert W. Lowndes.

He was a member of the Phantasy League in the late 1930s and a member of the New York Futurians in the early 1940s. In 1941 he lived with other Futurians in the Futurian Embassy. There was an attempt to eject him (along with Dick Wilson from the January 1941 meeting of the rival club, the QSFL.)
