Archon 9 was a convention held July 12-14, 1985 at the Henry VIII Hotel in St. Louis, MO. The GoHs were R. A. MacAvoy and Rowena Morrill. The toastmaster was Suzette Haden Elgin, attendance was about 1200, and it was chaired by Genie Yaffe.
