Westercon 2 was held October 2, 1949 at the Knights of Pythias Hall in Los Angeles. It was chaired by Walter J. Daugherty and sponsored by LASFS. The was no GoH.
It had originally been planned for July 3rd, but in June, when the committee discovered that many LASFen were going to be out of town, it was postponed.
