Most conventions publish a progress report to send to their members in advance of the convention. The PR (as they are usually abbreviated) contains information useful in advance of the con: Lists of people (members, program participants, hucksters, artists) expected to attend, special rules, announcements of special events, etc. Worldcons typically publish multiple PRs.

PRs used to printed and posted, now many fans opt to have them supplied electronically as PDFs.
