Millie Taurasi

(October 2, 1924 – September 4, 2002)

Carmela Mildred Taurasi attended the First Worldcon in 1939, and went to the Softball Game there.

She was Triumvir member James V. Taurasi’s sister. 4SJ reported in New Fandom 6 (January 1940, p. 21) that Jimmy was “up in arms” because Morojo had “slyly supplied her with subversive literature” and introduced her to Esperanto.

Millie was on FAPA’s first waitlist. Dick Wilson claimed in Science Fiction News Letter 51 (November 1938, p. 1) that Millie had “unconstitutionally” edited the second ish of Jimmy’s FAPAzine Weird and Fantasy Fiction.

She appears to have gafiated in the early 1940s. In 1946, Millie married Arthur Marceau.
