Mel Hunter

(July 27, 1927 -- February 20 2004)

Milford Joseph “Mel” Hunter was an L.A. fan and pro artist whose work appeared on many prozine covers beginning in 1953 and lasting into the ’70s. He is especially well-known for a series of robot covers for F&SF.

He was a member of LASFS.
