Also known as KC in 2K, it was a Worldcon bid for Kansas City in the year 2000, chaired by Jim Satterfield and Susan Satterfield. It was the first bid announced for its year but soon faced competition from Chicago in 2000. After throwing many bid parties, including elaborate outings at ConAdian and Intersection, the bid ran into difficulties securing adequate facilities and withdrew in early 1996.

It's motton was "Fan de Siecle".

See 2000 Worldcon Site Selection for details of the selection process.
