Joan Catherine Paul (later Engel) attended the first Worldcon, NYCon, with her father, the GoH, artist Frank R. Paul, mother, Rudolpha Paul, and sister Patricia Ann.
Fifty years later, Forry Ackerman recalled having been impressed by her.
