Eugie Foster

Eugie Foster was an American short story writer and editor who had served as the managing editor for the online short fiction review sites Tangent Online and The Fix.

She was also a director for Dragon*Con for many years, and editor of their newsletter, The Daily Dragon. Foster wrote "Writing for Young Readers," a monthly column for Writing-World.com which provided advice for writers of children's and young adult literature.

The Eugie Foster Memorial Award for Short Fiction was created in her honor.

She was married to Matthew Foster from 1992. She died of respiratory failure, a complication of treatments for large B-cell lymphoma.
