Equicon '74

Equicon '74 was held May 24–25, 1975, at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. was the last iteration of Equicon which was still a regional convention, though it was well on its way to being a Star Trek convention. The GoH was D. C. Fontana, while Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett were Special GoHs. Helen Young was Fan GoH. Other guests included David Gerrold, George Clayton Johnson, Bjo Trimble, George Takei, James Doohan, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Arlene Martel, Mike Farrell, Robert Foxworth, Ruth Berman, Larry Vincent, and Kirk Alyn. There was a Masquerade in which at least three women appeared with almost no costume. The Chairs were John Trimble and Craig Miller.
