They say of themselves, "The Durham University Science Fiction and Fantasy Society meets weekly to watch TV episodes and Sci-Fi and Fantasy Films. We also produce a termly fanzine, in which students can submit their own science fiction pieces." Their clubzine is Star 69.

They have run Durhamcon since 2017.
