Coastcon '83 was a convention held March 4-6, 1983 at the Royal D'Iberville Hotel in Biloxi, MS. The GoH was Jo Clayton. Andy Offutt was toastmaster.
File 770 43, p. 13 reports that the convention lost over $1700 due to embezzlement by the treasurer and that the convention's Board had filed formal charges and the the teasurer had been arrested.
