In 2009, the podcast The Chronic Rift announced a reinvigoration of the awards the podcast's predecessor television show used to award: The Roundtable Awards. One of the awards presented, for that year only, although the awards continued, was for Best Fanzine. There was only one nominee, Argentus, edited by Steven H Silver, which received the award when the winners were announced.
